I was extremely confused about purchasing this product. I had been using a pillow top Denver mattress for more than eight years. Although the mattress was lovely but it was time to buy a new one. That is why I had been researching for mattresses for more than a month.

While I was researching, I checked the reviews on LUCID, Sealy’s and Tempurpedic. Most of the reviews told about similar experiences. Many people wrote how firm their mattress is while others complained of mattresses getting all heated up. Few people talked about the ultra softness of their mattress.

After all the research, I have learned that it is all about a customer’s requirements. I will advise you to go to your local mattress store and test the Tempurpedic which is much expensive than this mattress. There is not much difference between the two, so if you find Tempurpedic to meet your needs, get this one. You will get the same comfort at much cheaper price.

The mattress has a lot of weight so it requires two people to move and unpack it.

Lots of reviews warned about the unpleasant smell it comes with. Mine had it too but I set up my mattress, left the windows open and closed the bedroom door to get rid of the smell. When I came back from work, the smell was completely gone.

I must say this mattress will give you a very special sleep experience. I have been using mine for two nights now and I have had two amazing nights’ sleep after what seems like ages. I will never buy other mattresses after this.

I researched a lot on a number of memory foam mattresses and decided to buy this one for its lowest price deal. It was delivered instantly and I set it up the same day to sleep on it at the same night. I loved the sleeping experience. Many reviewers talked about an unpleasant odor but my mattress had none at all. Previously I had a tempurpedic but I like this one way better. Also it is so convenient to unzip the cover to wash the mattress. This mattress is a gem at this price!

Let me give you a little intro about myself; I work in tech field, just moved to US from Europe and Asia where I lived. Before buying a new house, I stayed for a while in a hotel. I needed to set up the house as early as I could. For the last couple of weeks, I have been researching a lot about mattresses and their types.

Now I have been quite hands on about the various types of mattress. There are spring mattress, memory foam, coir, gel memory foam and latex. I chose to buy Memory foam because of the following points:

1).The exclusive quality of memory foam mattress is that it disperses pressures across large area of the back to keep the back healthy.
2). It is long lasting with a 25 years of unbeatable warranty.

I also found out that memory foam mattress hold heat which may be desirable for cold climates but it was not my requirement. There are types of foam mattresses which are designed to lessen the impact of heat. These are as follows:

1). There are forms of memory form designed to let air circulate the mattress. I have no idea regarding their practicality but they are certainly cheaper.
2). Another type is the Gel-memory foam which are designed with a gel layer on the top of memory foam. I cannot go into lots of details but I am pretty sure this type is quite practical but it is priced somewhat higher.
3) A third type is the combination of the above two types.

I chose the third option suitable for myself. Now the next step was to find a quality company sicnce there are a good number of brands out there. I finally decided to buy 12 inch LUCID- LinenSpa Gel-memory foam mattress. This is a good quality and pricey product. It had only 42 reviews when I bought it, much lower than hundreds of reviews other products received. As I had done a great deal of research on the mattresses, I was very certain that I made the right choice.

In a nutshell, my decision was based on the following four points, provided by the mattress company on its product description:

1. Special Lucid-Gel formula memory foam added in the mattress to retain and disperse heat.
2. Disposable silver-infused cover which has been treated with antimicrobials and hypoallergenic.
3. The pin-core technology to let air circulate the top layer and adjust sleeping temperature.
4. A 25-Year warranty and open cell construction designed to add durability to the foam in order to resist body impressions for a long time.

The overall charges minus tax and delivery was $449. Now I will just give you a short and simple write up of what I experienced after using the mattress.

It was delivered timely
It was properly packed and took only 10 minutes to unpack.
I loved it on the first sight and the mattress cover was nice too.
Certain smell was there but it wasn’t much and quickly dissipated.
I used the mattress and found it firm but soft to the perfection. The pressure on back is evenly distributed and it just felt I am swimming on the clouds!
I would probably write another review after some months of use.

I bought this mattress to change the very bad Simmons Beautyrest innerspring mattress which was described as helpful for back but had left two plunges on spots where I and my wife slept only after 8 years of use. Our sleep had gone worse with terrible mornings full of back aches. Also the mattress was not provided with separate coils so we both disturbed each other with every movement.

I purchased the King Lucid on Saturday 22nd December and it arrived on Monday 24thDecember. The delivery was left on our door but the box wasn’t looking very neat. However, the mattress was safely packed professionally inside double wraps. We unpacked the mattress on the same day and left it for 24 hours.

It expanded to its intended 16 inches within few hours, contrary to the 48 hour period proposed on the pack. The mattress had an insignificant smell which soon went away. The mattress was fully functional and had no issues to stop us from a comfortable sleep.

We love this mattress. It is firm but comfortable, soft and extra ordinarily supportive. I weight 250 lbs and my height is about 6’1”. I have had back surgery which made it very hard for me to lie on my back specially on the old mattress. Now this mattress is so comfortable and supportive to my back, my problem is much resolved.

Also, this mattress provides us the much needed separate coils. Now we do not get disturbed by each other’s movements. Our mattress pad was made of poly-cotton mix but we soon felt that it becomes hot and does not allow the top layer of mattress to regulate the body heat. I would like to know which mattress pad is used by the customers of this mattress. Currently, we are simply using fitted sheets on the mattress. May be a mattress pad is not required at all?

We were concerned about the purchase of LUICD because we had never tried it before but now we are so glad that we made the right decision. We had checked a memory foam mattress years ago in a store but it was so plunging and soft that my body sank into it and it took some effort to pull myself out of the indentation. LUCID, however, is completely different. As you take a side, the small hole would disappear within moments. There is no sleeping-in-a-sinking-mattress feel to LUCID.

I purchased this mattress because I had heard my good things about memory foam mattresses and as I was moving into a new place, I wanted to buy a brand new mattress for myself.

It was delivered swiftly and I took it up to my apartment with some difficulty but that was my own mistake. When I unpacked the box and removed the wrappings off the professionally packed mattress, I was surprised to see the pack unrolling into a complete mattress. The directions on the package provided to spread the mattress for 48 hours to allow it to expand but it reached its full expansion within 24 hours.

I tried the mattress and was quite happy to feel how remarkably comfortable it was. I was looking for a firm mattress without that horrible sinking feeling. I loved to see that this mattress met all my requirements. It was perfectly firm but amazingly soft. Note that I slept on the mattress while it was spread on the floor!

After some days, my bed frame was delivered and I spread the LUCID by LinenSpa Memory Foam Mattress on the frame. It is just perfect. My back ache has completely gone. I totally love this product!

I switch places every now and then but I despise moving my furniture along with me. I usually purchase this mattress each time I change places. I found this mattress better than the 12 inch LUCID memory foam mattress I had. It is firmer and much comfy. The previous one made indentations when I slept on it and it was somewhat hard to get out of it. This mattress is not at all like the previous one. These mattresses satisfy me every time I buy them but I have never used any of them for more than a year or may be two years. I usually donate them to charity when they are almost new. I would buy a new one again.

This mattress is extremely comfortable. We have topped it over the old mattress we had which acts like an additional padding. It has made it perfect without us having to spend money on memory foam pad.

My husband is suffering from back issues because he had met an accident some years back and broke his backbone. He would have irritations in the arms and legs all through the night. I wanted to change my old mattress which was bought at a very high price. I really didn’t want to spend $1200 again so I went ahead with this mattress. Now I am so happy that I made the right choice.

The mattress is very firm but comfortable which is necessary for people having back pains like me. My experience with memory foam was not very good. The ones I bought were either very soft with no back support or way too firm for a comfortable sleep. But this foam is simply perfect, its density is neither too hard nor too soft.

The bed was much more in weight than it was anticipated. It took some effort to bring it into the house. The mattress was delivered without air and weighed almost 40 pounds with 6 feet height. I had to use a hand truck to push it into the house. Once inside, I somehow pushed it onto the bed frame, removed the canvas and tear off the wrapping. After that I spread it onto the bed and waited for the air to expand the mattress for some time.

The packing had warning signs providing that the expansion may take 24 hours and also that the foam may have some chemical smell which requires airing out for its complete removal. The second warning was a little worrying because I have a chronic migraine problem which shoots up instantly with chemical odors. I had to be careful so I opened my bedroom windows and switched on the fan to allow the smell to dissipate.

But it was not really required because the smell was not much noticeable. Also, the bed expanded to 6 inches almost within a couple of hours unlike mentioned on the tags. It reached its full capacity within 6 hours only. The mattress was ready to use on the same day it arrived and I decided to take its first test. The result was amazing. I had the best sleep for the first time in months. It was so good to sleep on that I couldn’t help wanting to stay in the bed even in the morning.

I wanted a Memory foam “Queen” mattress with 8-10 inches of thickness but my budget was limited. I searched for about a week and decided on this mattress because of the following aspects:

1. There was no other mattress of this quality available through internet at such a great price deal.
2. It had the most proportional density available; neither too firm nor too soft and exactly like I required it to be. I have been sleeping on it for a week and I must say it is extra ordinary. It will be too much to say that it’s the best mattress available but it certainly is at this price range.
3. The mattress is delivered free of charge within a professional package. The packing is very trouble free and comes in a 40 lb cylindrical bag.
4. Unlike many other reviewers, I didn’t experience any nasty odor. Sure there was some usual mattress small but it remained for only 5-10 minutes.

I had been using the very loyal Simmons Spring mattress when it started falling apart after years of use. I thought to buy a new mattress and innocently went mattress hunting without knowing how outrageously they have priced every mattress!

Disappointed, I grabbed the computer and started searching online not sure whether purchasing over the internet was a good idea or not. However, the price deals were quite affordable to take a chance. I have heard a lot about memory foam and decided to buy this mattress rather than the traditional spring mattress I had.

I purchased this mattress to fit my wooden bed frame. The size I ordered was 8 inch thick.
The mattress was delivered in a professional packing rolled up within layers of plastic. It had a lot of weight but I somehow took it up the stairs.

The mattress took no time to expand to its maximum potential as soon I removed its wrappings. It expanded into a precisely 8 inches solid mattress as described on the website.

I anticipated the mattress to be softer and less firm but it turned out to be firmer than my old spring mattress.

When I gave it a test try, the bed totally surprised me with its cloud-like but firm impact. However, what bothered me the most was the very unpleasant smell of chemicals coming from the mattress. I, therefore, opened all my bedroom windows and allowed the mattress to remove the stink. I went to work and came back with a slight smell still roaming the room but not strong as it was before.

The smell completely evaporated till the next night. I decided to sleep on it and laid comfortably on the back but as I am a side sleeper, when I changed my position it required a bit of effort to move. This is because memory foam has small indentations to support your body according to your body shape.

When I changed the position again, it dislocated the first form that was made, making it somewhat weird. But in the morning when I got up, the mattress came back to its original form. It was great to watch it coming back to its normal state as I was expecting some body indentation on it.

I really love this bed but I think I just need some nights to get used to the unusualness of memory foam. It is very comfy but it is quite unusual than the standard spring mattress I had. I love the amazing quality and the manufacture date says it was made on 9/22/11, means it was made only a month before I purchased it!

The price deal of this mattress is certainly unbeatable and with the free shipping facility, it is huge saver with amazing quality. I was going to buy a mattress from other online retailer who was charging $80 for shipping alone! Amazon is a complete saver! I am quite surprised to know that Amazon is providing free shipping as the product is quite heavy to move.

After using it for a couple of weeks, I have observed that it is getting more comfortable. It is probably because the mattress is slowly modifying to my body type and weight. When you lay on it, it instantly identifies the body to adjust it to the type. Also it takes some time to get out of the mattress in the mornings because body is aligned so comfortably along the mattress. This is sort of weird by very nice.

Although I must warn you that the mattress nestles your body completely, almost grasping all the body heat within, resulting in a heated up bed. So you may get a warmer bed than with a traditional spring mattress. For me it has not become a problem as yet because it is pretty cold at night in the Northeast but in summers this may become a problem.

Overall, I am quite amazed by the perfect firmness and softness of this mattress and also how it transforms according to your body requirements within a few days of use.

Be patient with the mattress and let it adapt to your body requirements for some days.

I really do not know how heavenly a 900.00 memory foam mattress would be!

I love this product. I had been searching for a good mattress as now I have grown old and my bones cannot take on much pressure. I bought different mattresses. Few were costly, few were good in use but this is the first time I have found a perfect mattress that meets my needs well.

It is quite soft but positively firm to support my body and give me the required comfort with my bone related problems. I sleep all through the night uninterrupted and without any needless tossing or turning. My mornings are very delightful with no signs of pain or restlessness.

There were many reviews warning about a strong smell of chemical from the shipped mattress box. I however did not experience any such discomfort. My mattress sized up quite fast and smoothly and I am very happy with this product after a long period of use.

I am not saying this is the finest mattress of all but I can rightly say that it is the finest of all I have used specially at its comfortable price range.

I will definitely use it and recommend others to use it too.

I purchased three Twin Sleep Master Memory Foam mattresses of 8 inches. They were delivered timely and were set to use after 2 hours of expansion. The smell that comes off in the beginning is similar to other mattresses we had bought and is not an issue as the smell goes after a while anyway. The mattresses are firm and very good for my kids’ beds. The kids love them and that is why I am very happy with this product.

I opened the box after a few days of its delivery. It looks as promised in the description. I was however very discomforted by one thing; it has a very strong chemical odor which is not “harmless” as described by a disclaimer note in the product. I am airing the product of remove this unpleasant smell.

I hated to breathe in the nasty odor for some days because my studio apartment does not have any open space. There is not balcony or open space to spread out the mattress and this was not provided in the description by the retailer. Up till now, the mattress is giving off the unpleasant smell but it has reduced in intensity than when it arrived.

I first ordered the Sleep Innovations 8 inch mattress but then found this LUCID mattress accidentally and managed to change my order before delivery. I am very satisfied with this Queen sized LUCID 12 inch memory foam mattress. Two reasons contributed to this change in decision. One was that the LUCID was about $100 cheaper than Sleep Innovations. The other was that many reviews talked about its firmness which was a bit of problem for me.

The package was delivered later than the due time but it the Fedex was responsible for this delay and not the mattress company. The mattress was very professionally packed. I would suggest you to open the pack in the room you would use the mattress. It took almost no time to expand. Also the bamboo cover was a great plus.

When I opened the mattress, a very strong odor filled the entire place. I turned on the fan to dissipate the smell and let the mattress stay untouched for 2 days. The smell was completely gone by the end of the second day though.

After a week of use, I have totally fallen in love with this mattress. At such a reasonable price, you cannot find a better mattress. I have a lot of experience in mattress shopping as I have bought many memory foam mattresses of different companies. I must say that this mattress is somewhat similar to Tempurpedic.

Although the Tempurpedic Cloud Deluxe mattress was definitely a much better choice but it is 10 times higher in price and way out of my pocket. LUCID is a very soft and comfortable memory foam mattress. I loved it because most of the memory foam mattresses are too firm but LUCID gives you a very soft comfort.

I would recommend this mattress to anyone who wants a soft comfortable memory foam mattress. I am totally impressed by the quality of this LUCID. I was very concerned about its quality at this cheap price specially as there were no reviews to guide me when I bought it but I am so glad I made the right decision. The quality, comfort and price, all are certainly above my expectations.

You must also research and shop around for mattress base. I was about to order a mattress base through internet before I found Sleepy’s near my new place. I bought a $350 quality wood base for only $100 because of a small stain it had. I bought it and covered the stain with bed skirt. Also there are many shops where you can get floor models at good bargains, much cheaper than you can find on internet.

I got really excited when I saw this deal on another website. I weigh about 165 lb but I am very agile and end up hurting my back every now and then. The mattress I was using previously wasn’t very supportive for my back aches. I am writing this review to help you guide with this mattress.

1. Comfort:

I will give 5 out of 5 ratings to the comfort. This was the first memory foam mattress I ever bought, so I was a little concerned about the comfort. I have a habit to sleep cold and on a hard mattress and memory foam didn’t seem to provide both these qualities. But when I tried it, I was so surprised to know that it was so comfortable.

The mattress heats up a little but not to an unbearable limit and was quite firm too. Rather it was firmer than the previous spring mattress I used. If you need a firm mattress, its definitely a recommended option.

2. Quality:

I will rate the mattress quality 5 out of 5. The mattress came in a box torn because of the heavy weight but inside it was in a good condition. The mattress was in a very nice cover. Inside the box, the mattress was packed up in layers of plastic. It was a very professionally packed.

The best thing about the mattress is that it has a 20 year long warranty. Although I am quite confused how mattress warranty is used at all because of the big product. Its shipment alone will cost equal to a brand new mattress. I wonder whether they give us free shipment when we use their warranty service or not.

3. Odor:

I will give 4 out of 5 points on this factor. I was warned about the unpleasant smell of the mattress in the various online reviews but as I opened the box, it wasn’t such a bad smell. It had the smell of new material and wasn’t too unbearable to sleep. I would say it is better to sleep on the mattress after a day specially if you are sensitive to smells. Some people have no issues with smell while others have, that’s why I took a point off. The odor is not very bad, it is just a usual out of factory odor of a new product.

4. Pain relief:

I will give it 5 out of 5 points based on my experience up till now. The mattress was extremely comfortable and I experienced a well-supported lower back all through the night. I am not very convinced that memory foams have the cure to back aches and pain. This will clarify later. It is very supportive for my back.

General review:

I will give 5 out of 5 to this mattress because it is definitely the best mattress I have used so far. It is supportive, helps ease my lower back and is very comfy. I am quite happy with it specially for its excellent price.

Arrangement:

I thought of getting a bed frame which would fold but there was lots of squeaking noise in such a set up. I made my own custom frame of hardwood. The mattress is positioned over 6 hardwood pieces and is so comfortable without any squeaking noise. I can’t even feel the wood underneath!

I was looking for a mattress that could mitigate my lower back aches. For this, I found out that the best type of mattress should have 2-3 inches of soft layer along with a hard lower support layer.

I have bought a number of mattresses via Walmart and Amazon but sadly I couldn’t get the desired one. Few of them had a softer middle layer, which is a killer for back problems. Others were a little too soft. My requirement was to buy a supportive mattress. Many of the Walmart mattresses were old and weren’t in a proper shape.

Finally I gave away and bought a Tempurpedic Cloud Mattress for $1400. It was a good experience in the beginning and gave me a good firm support but when the weather changed and climate became colder, the mattress become too hard just like a stone. I wanted a firm support but it became even harder for me to sleep on it.

Another problem was its heat sensitivity. The mattress would be very hard in the beginning but then would soften after sometime. This product is 8 inch mattress with 4 inch memory foam along with 1 inch of soft egg crate and 3 inches of hard mattress. When you use the cold mattress, it is like a rock but then it starts submerging. The mattress sinks for some time till you have submerged about 4-5 inches into it. This amount of sinking is really too much.

A mattress that sinks specially in the middle is very bad for back aches, worse if you are a stomach sleeper. Unfortunately, the Temperpedic has this problem. The mattress becomes hot and starts sinking all night because of the weight of a person’s back. Because feet and head are lighter in weight and are supported by the pillow, the overall result is that back sinks quite low but head and feet stay up. This sinking mattress along with the weight and movements of sleep companion makes a very soft sinking mattress.

I emailed the customer service of Sleep Innovations 8 inch mattress. They gave me a very professional response. ILD is the standard system for the measurement of a mattress’s firmness. It works proportionally. The higher the number the more firm a mattress would be.

The customer service guided me that the mattress comprises of 2 inch layer of 3lb memory foam along an ILD of 9 and 6 inches layer of 2 lb polyurethane foam with a 40 ILD.

The most ideal density of memory foam is almost 3lb whereas Tempurpedic comes with 5.3lb and 7 lb density. The high density is directly proportional to temperature sensitivity. The higher the number, the more temperature sensitive mattress would be.

Also a 9 ILD mattress is a soft memory foam. The ILD for Tempurpedic is 13-14.

Additionally, a 40 ILD base is quite firm. My other mattress was also described as having the ILD of 40 but its base is much more firm than that of Sleep Innovations. But Sleep Innovations base is firm enough to be supportive.

There are some mattresses which are not so practical because of huge contrasts in layer firmness. The memory foam can be easily plunged to reach the firm base. But this Sleep Innovations mattress works quite wonderfully. The mattress doesn’t compress or changes its firmness on slight use. It rises nicely from base foam to the memory foam without sudden change.

The mattress has a quality design but it is not as good as the Tempurpedic.

In the end, now my back pains have gone since a month of using this mattress. I have stopped searching for a mattress for a long time now.

I would totally recommend this product to anyone who is in a need of a normal but firm mattress to get good support. I would specially recommend it to those who have constant lower back pains.

I decided to buy this mattress in replacement to my old metal spring mattress that caused me back pains. Being a student, the price suited my budget. I also bought along with it a $100 wooden platform bed that turns out to be compatible with the mattress. The item arrived about a week after ordering, earlier than the ETA and was just in time for me to move in. The mattress was nicely packed in a cylindrical cardboard box. The weight was just right – not too heavy, just enough for me to carry.

As I unfold it on the platform bed, I noticed it was clean and firm. I wonder why the seller don’t have a picture of this when this seem to look good. It turned out that it was only about 5.5 inches, but no big deal for me. What matters is that it is actually soft and the firmness was just enough to support my body. I came to the point that I almost quit ordering this mattress, because from my experience with beds, the quality depends on the price. Memory foams used to be more expensive, I used to have a tempurpedic mattress too, but in the end I ordered this mattress. And I was glad I did.

When I received the mattress, it was packed presentably in an air-tight packaging and was rolled-up inside a draw-string style canvas sack. I cut open the sack and unroll it to let the mattress expand. During the expansion, I was worried it will give off stinky smell as most memory foam mattress does. Luckily, I did not notice any smell but still I opened my windows and turned on the fan to drive away odors. As I lay, I can feel the softness of the bed. It was also firm, but I think it is good for providing support.

I had a very good first impression on this mattress. The first time I slept on it, it felt like a dream, so cozy and soft. I was a little worried about it because I am about 250 lbs. I really want to have the most accurate review as much as possible to provide you such reliable opinions about this memory foam. So I waited for a month. I have a Simmons Euro ultra plush king mattress before that, guess what, only lasted for 5 years! It got so uncomfortable that I have to decide on buying a new one. Of course due to that I have to let myself search extensively for the right memory foam mattress. We came across Tempurpedic memory foam mattresses reviews, but I couldn’t take the risk for spending too much on a mattress that may not meet our preferences (it’s about $3,000).

We were quite anxious about ordering this product online but the reviews were almost positive. We look into other products but there were issues like how and where the product was made. With Cloud’s memory foam reviews and descriptions, I thought I couldn’t go wrong with this considering also the quality it offers at a reasonable price.

The purchase came with free shipping, free but took 4 weeks to arrive. It was packaged in a very small box yet heavy enough to be carried by 2 people. As illustrated on the accompanying diagram, we opened it. The material was a bit cold. It took around 2 days for it to fully expand. I thought it will be easy for us to figure out a chemical smell since my wife and I have sensitive nose. But to our surprise, we didn’t notice any smell on this mattress, as what was stated on the reviews.

The only difference I noticed about this mattress and Tempurpedic is that it does not have the “sink” feeling tempurpedic offers. So I have to put on down topper cover before my wife gets so disappointed. it was also a bit firm and uncomfortable on the first two weeks. It took a while to adjust to this.

Oftentimes people consider the brand of the mattress even if it costs thousands of dollars. Just my opinion though. But wouldn’t it be practical to buy a mattress that offers the same quality as that of an expensive brand? I mean you are buying a mattress, not a brand. So I suggest don’t go buying something just because it’s popular because there are something out there that are more economical to buy. Read reviews yet I’m sure that will cost you a lot of time. I came across this mattress at Sam’s Club but I figured it might be better to check this item on Amazon. Then I decided to try this mattress and I’m so HAPPY it didn’t disappoint me. It arrived to me about a week and half after ordering. The shipping is free so I don’t have problem with that. It came in a box of quite a size – 4 and half feet tall and around 2 feet deep. It was heavy! It was around 100 lbs but I was able to carry it upstairs. If you just have a perfectly fit body, you can solely carry, push or pull the box. I am sure too that some women can do it

While shopping this item at Amazon, I decided to have a complete set so I also bought along a new bed frame. It was Structure folding frame. It perfectly goes well with the mattress, to note that it was easy to set up! You just have to fold it open and screw the sides then you’re done. Way better than a standard box spring. The mattress was folded so it kinda look like a Z on the side. It was sealed on a bag where air was out to be able to pack it in a box.

TAKE NOTE OF THIS: You have to put on the mattress on the bed frame right where you want it before opening the bag. After you had set up the mattress you can start cutting off the bag and you will notice the sound of the air being sucked up by the mattress. Then slowly it goes bigger and bigger, turning into its true form. It takes time to fully expand, so don’t hurry to get the bags off the mattress.

You will also notice bumps and dips on the mattress while it is expanding but they will soon be gone. It gives off a smell similar to when your room was just painted. In time that smell will go out, no need to worry about it. This mattress serves me well, it have a mattress protector already. Despite that, I would still want to put on a King size sheet (I figured it fits perfectly) to preserve the cleanliness of the mattress. After an hour, I tried it, I was surprised it really felt nice.

I didn’t have the problem to get into this bed after a day or two. I opened the mattress around 1pm and by 10pm we go to bed and my wife and I slept on the new mattress. Didn’t really give me trouble. At first it was a bit firm, but as you lay longer, you realize that you sink into it. But not sink as much as 6 inches, maybe around 2. I experienced a dreamy feel that really gave me a nice sleep. Although it felt warmer than my old one, but was NOT TOO HOT! I really had a better sleep, better than my previous mattress which I paid around 2 grand! (See prices don’t matter)

Some things that I read on the reviews:

“Non-sleeping activities” are not advisable on this bed. When I tried this bed, I was like, “Really? If you have problem with it, I’m sure it’s not the bed!”
It stinks, as they say. But for me, it was not an issue. It will wear off quickly.
The firmness? I don’t think it’s that firm for you to cause back pains. I used to love soft ones but this mattress changed my preferences.

I was indeed anxious for the fact that I ordered this mattress without even trying this out yet. But I risked. I guess it was destiny then because I didn’t regret it at all! If you’re on the verge of buying it, don’t think twice, I tell you it’s really worth it. A poster said, it will only last for 5 years. But I didn’t consider this an issue. Considering the price a fraction of the cost of “name brands’, so what? I can buy again new one. As I have been sleeping on this Clouds memory foam mattress for nights, I find this impressive and I highly recommend it.

This product came is a quite big box of 40x24x24. If you don’t know what’s inside it, you won’t have an idea that there’s actually a mattress in it. We followed the advice to put this mattress right where we want it to be placed. For it to expand we opened the vacuum sealed bag and then it began gaining its form for a couple of hours. While others complain about the chemical smell on the foam, we manage to sleep on it the first night. It wasn’t that intense.

I was a bit worried about my husband having problems with this mattress because he has a pinched nerve in his hip. But there wasn’t a problem, which gave me a relief. He managed to lay his body on the bed and released that relaxing feeling of ahhh. He didn’t even have to need a pillow and that he was already comfortable in it. He was able to sleep within minutes, no more usual tossing and turning too.

Since I have no issues getting myself to sleep, I observed my body as I woke up. I felt no pain in my body. I used to have hot flashes with my age, but I have no problem with the heat on this mattress, its cooling system is effective. The reviews were true then that it does not trap heat.

I plan to replace out other memory foam mattresses with these. I’m sure our guests will love this too. I want them to experience what I felt. I recommend this mattress. I’m pretty sure that you will love this too.

I only waited for about 10 days for the product to arrive. I then let it expand to its true form that lasted for about 2 days. After that, I hurriedly tried the mattress. It took me some time to get used to it but since then, I was so into this mattress. This mattress came to me rolled up. It’s a good thing that it comes with a soft white cover that is removable and can be washed to. I found out that other mattresses are not. It was a bit heavy though I manage to lift it up the stairs. I thought it was lighter than the actual, well, I never had a memory foam mattress before. I unpacked and unrolled the mattress and let it regain its original shape.

Then I tried it. The support it gave me was the same as my former mattress. It is rather firm and have this latex-like smell, but not overbearing. As I have been sleeping on this mattress so far I have no issues. I love this mattress and I recommend it.

I received this mattress around 10 days after date of purchase. Upon receiving, I have to leave it for 2 days to fully expand. And when it was ready to use, I sleep on it and gave me a positive feel. I still had quite some time to adjust to the mattress but after that my sleep had been fantastic. I felt so much comfortable sleeping on this mattress. It didn’t give me shoulder pain since I tend to sleep on my side. This mattress is highly recommended. This product has 2 eggcrate pieces of foam that serves as the base. Maybe this is for the dual airflow. I have read that this is similar to Tempurpedic only that it costs 3 bucks more and I think, is there really a great difference for that? The cover of this mattress can be unzipped and washable. Upon sleeping on this mattress for quite some time and had adjusted to it, I like it. I never owned a memory foam mattress before, so I am a bit surprised on how it actually conforms to my body giving a great support as I lay. It’s a bit firm though.

If you tend to move a lot while you sleep, you might have to deal with the bumps your former position created, but it will adapt to your position in a while. The chemical smell they are talking on the reviews is indeed true but not strong only if you stick your nose to the mattress. I ordered it 7/9 and came 5 days after via Fedex. For me this mattress is highly recommended with the comfort and support it gave me, I wonder what the tempurpedic mattress has to offer considering that 1500 dollar higher price.

Despite having both tempurpedic and this king mattress, I find myself bias to this king mattress. This is better than the tempurpedic. The top layer of 5 inch 5 pound memory foam is really great. It may be hard to find another mattress of this type considering its quality at a very great deal. If you consider buying a tempurpedic, I suggest you try this out, same quality and it saves you much. Not unless you wanted to spend much and not efficiently. Just make sure to check on the density of the tempur material so that you’ll know what you’re buying.

Make an efficient and practical decision when buying. The most important factor to consider when buying a memory foam is the density and thickness of the visco-elastic material present on the mattress. Not too thin and not too thick. If you get it too thin, then it might not give you good support and if you get it too thick, you may find it too firm to sleep into. I strongly suggest you don’t buy memory foams less than 3.5-pound foam or 4 inches less of the actual memory foam. It’s up to you. I also want to note that just be practical on spending money for a memory foam mattress.

I don’t know why my loving husband desperately wants to have a memory foam mattress. I resisted on having one because of what I had experienced with my memory foam pillow that it gets hot to the point that I stop using it during summer. I fear if we buy a mattress, we might have the same problem. But when I was privileged to try this out, I gave it a chance. To my surprise, I think it was a solution.

Here’s the catch. The mattress came in a box with dimensions of 3 by 3 feet and 4 feet tall. It can be put on a platform or box spring. Considering its weight, 89 pounds, I had a hard time unpacking it and had to call for help. You have to put on the mattress on the right place before you unpack it if you don’t want to have trouble turning it around, it’s really heavy. I swear. Swiftly it regained its true form for a couple of hours, it does have smell but not that strong. Though the smell lasted for a couple of days.

Let me give some points to consider on this product, let me start with the positive side:

• Heat. As what I have experienced with my memory foam pillow, it gets pretty hot. And I have just the perfect way to test the heat dispersion of this memory foam mattress. I placed my hot laptop on top of the mattress. Leaving it for 20 minutes and after that, I checked. The gel foam became hot but only on the place where the laptop’s heat comes out, then the heat dispersed rather quickly. Test passed.
• Firmness. Two things to consider when talking about firmness of a memory foam mattress – the way it supports your body and the way it comforts your body. First, this mattress does not sag. It has just enough firmness to support my body. Then, I was amazed how the mattress delivers out the pressure on my arms. Yes I have positional sleep apnea. I have to use SONA FDA-Cleared Anti-snore and Mild Sleep Apnea pillow. Honestly, I never thought how this mattress would help me a lot regarding this matter.
• Mattress cover. The mattress has its own cover already. Though it’s not washable, just spot cleanable.

The negative side:

Memory foam mattresses have the property to conform to your body’s shape. This may be problem to those who take turns while sleeping. On this foam, its takes time to get it back to shape and when you turn, it’s like going out of a dip.

• Side of the bed. I wonder why this bed sinks when you sit on its side, it scrunches down. This might be an advantage to people who have limited mobility. Also, this affects the physical therapy exercises when you do have one, like it did to my husband because of this mattress’ giving in nature.
• Odor. Like most memory foam mattresses, it does have smell. They say it’s safe, but lasted for a couple of days. If you have sensitive nose, I suggest you think about this.
• I do love this mattress. But the impact it gave to my husband having him sleep on a recliner, I decided to place this on the guest room. I could not take to sleep at night without my husband. I just sleep on this for naps. It takes time to get used to this type of mattress. So I suggest try this out in stores first before buying so that you will know how will this mattress affects you.

Serta 10 inch gel foam 3 layer mattress got me. I fell in love with it. I love how it flawlessly supports my body making me feel like lying on a bed of clouds. But as much as I love this mattress, my wife hates this. It’s no use having this mattress were my wife is not happy about it. A happy wife matters most. So I ended up moving this mattress on a spare room, though I managed to sleep on it for a number of days.

Some things I noticed:

• I love the way how it harmonizes to my body – but it gave my wife back aches when she wakes up.
• It still do have some heat, I guess it’s normal to memory foam mattresses. I feel it’s the same with other mattresses but my wife said it’s hotter than a normal mattress.
• Support wise, the firmness is just right plus it gives me a softer feel.
• It may not be accurate to give opinion about this for just testing it for few weeks, but this mattress seems to be made properly, just 25% heavier than traditional mattresses, approximately.
• I suggest you let your kids see how the mattress expands. I think kids will be amazed seeing how a small stuff gets bigger and bigger.

To sum it up, I have to give this a 4 star rating – though it kills me, but since my wife doesn’t like it, it’s just right.
